The Ministry of Worship
At Faith Church the ministry of worship is very important.  We believe God responds to his people when they worship him sincerely.  We are blessed to have a couple devoted to motivating the musicians, the choir, and the congregation to passionately raise not only their voices but also their hearts in worship to God. 

Chris and Christy Hockaday have a passion to see the entire congregation joyfully worship God and feel God joyfully respond to our worship.  Chris and Christy have taken on the responsibility of coordinating the entire worship ministry.  They are always looking for people who want to be a part of this very large worship TEAM.  If you are interested in playing an instrument, singing in the choir, helping with digital media or sound Chris and Christy are waiting to hear from you.

Worship Band:

The worship band strives for a contemporary sound and is made up of trombone, acoustic guitar, lead / electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and drums.  The team works hard to prepare new music with a quality sound.

 

 

Worship Choir:

The choir meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 7 pm to 8 pm to rehearse new music and prepare for Sunday services.  The choir also presents musicals during the Christmas and Easter Seasons.   This team truly enjoys music and the common bonds created by working together / singing together as one body.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Technical Sound Team:

The sound team also works by schedule and is made up of select individuals with skills in managing sanctuary sound.

 

 

Media Production Team:

This team rotates by schedule to prepare weekly media presentations for services.  Media is combined with pre-service DVD, CD, and countdowns to the start of service.  Media is also used throughout the service to enhance worship and sermon illustrations.  During productions and/or illustrated sermons lighting technicians will be required.
