Ekklesia is a Greek word used to describe a congregation of believers. It can be translated “those who are called out to be separate.” We will be focusing on cultivating relationships with those in the 18-30 age range who are either in college, or have graduated and are in their first few years in the workforce. The philosophy of Ekklesia is “College, Career, Community.”
We will meet each Sunday night at 7:30 in the fellowship hall at Faith Church for small group discussion, fellowship, and (of course) food! We will also have a Saturday night service called Gather once or twice a month, in which everyone involved with Ekklesia will gather to praise the Father together, and to learn about who He is. In addition to these regular meetings, we will have a “fun” day about once a month in which all of us will do things like camping, a ballgame, hiking, a movie, etc., and we will also do some kind of “service project” that focuses on meeting the needs of our community about once a month.
